Started an environmental department within AMI's Superior, WI office and also started and office in the Twin Cities that included the addition of new Civil Engineering Department. In this position I managed some fantastic projects and great staff. Project types included Brownfield redevelopments, real estate due diligence, soil remediation, sediment remediation, mold and methamphetamine remediation, permitting and environmental review.
COMMERCIAL GROUP MANAGER/BOARD MEMBER - BAY WEST LLC, ST. PAUL, MN
July 2007 to June 2014
Recruited to be the commercial services group that included 65 professional staff located in St. Paul, Fridley, and Duluth. In this position I was responsible for the overall management of the State of Minnesota Superfund and Emergency Response contracts, and State of Wisconsin Emergency Response contract. I also served on the Bay West executive management group and played an important role in the overall operations of the company.

Recruited to Branch Manager responsible for the financials, budgeting, staffing, business development, client and project management.
PROJECT MANAGER - TERRACON
August 1995 to January 2001
Relocated to the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro for family reasons. Projects included large portfolios of agricultural chemical assessments and cleanups, real estate due diligence assessments and site development projects for Target Corporation.
OWNER/MANAGER - BAUMGARTNER ENVIRONICS, INC.
July 1990 to July 1995
Recruited to the company to start an environmental department that would be responsible for agricultural related environmental consulting services. While at BEI I was awarded 20% ownership for growing the department and becoming a leader in the agricultural chemical cleanup and livestock permitting markets.
PIPELINE INSPECTOR - BRAUN INTERTEC
April 1990 to June 1990
Primarily responsible for directing and documenting the environmental restoration of a natural gas pipeline in central Michigan. Also assisted with FERC permitting support documents.
CHEMISTRY AND WASTE WATER TOXICITY LAB TECHNICIAN
September 1988- April 1990
Started as a chemistry organic chemistry lab technician responsible for prepping and extracting environmental samples. In 1989 I moved to a new department where assisted in building a toxicity testing laboratory where we determined the toxicity of waste water to fat head minnows and zooplankton.
